The 'Lines' prints evolved from the process of creating small 3D sculptures made of wood and string then photographing them and making drawings based on cropped areas of the photographs. These drawings were then re-created as drypoints and inked up as monoprints in different colour schemes. The ideas behind the initial sculptures and subsequent prints include thoughts on being bound and unbound, tied and free, and the often fine lines between the two.
